The arts-X-press Visual Art Instructor plays a key role in our summer arts program, teaching two daily visual art workshops to middle school students of diverse abilities. Each workshop includes up to ten students and two high school/college-age mentors. Workshops are designed to encourage creative risk-taking, self-expression, and teamwork while introducing students to fundamental art techniques. Instructors reside on campus for the duration of their six-day session, participating in excursions, workshops, and community activities.
