Join us for the culminating performance of the 14th Annual NVYS Youth Strings Chamber Summer Camp, a week-long immersive musical experience that brings together talented young string musicians and exceptional professional teaching artists from across the Bay Area.

Under the direction of Yasushi Ogura, NVYS Head Strings Teaching Artist and Director of the NVYS Youth Chamber Ensemble (NYCE), students spend the week developing their musicianship through chamber music coaching, music theory, ear training, ensemble collaboration, leadership development, and performance preparation.

This special concert showcases the hard work and artistic growth of students ranging from intermediate beginners to advanced string players. Audiences will enjoy a diverse program of chamber music performed by small ensembles, highlighting the communication, teamwork, and musical independence that are at the heart of chamber music making.
