Put yourself in the holiday spirit with festive heart-warming music performed by the Livermore-Amador Symphony! Vaughan Williams’s Suite for Viola and Small Orchestra features Bay Area soloist Jenny Douglass. Christmas carols infuse the music of Coleridge-Taylor’s Christmas Overture and Quinn Mason’s Christmas Eve Festivities, and Tchaikovsky transports us to the wintry world of The Snow Maiden. You’ll also hear Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances, Suite No. 1. Extra attractions in the theater lobby: Cantabella Children’s Chorus will sing holiday carols at intermission; after the concert join Conductor Lara Webber and the musicians at a complimentary reception featuring Livermore Valley wines.
